Strings City Firenze 2017

The second edition of Strings City, a diffused festival dedicated to strings music, took place on Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 December 2017 in Florence, with 80 musical events in 50 cultural sites all  of them with free admission.
From the Sala Gigli in Palazzo Vecchio to the Laurentian Medicean Library, from the Monumental Complex of Santa Croce to the Arcetri Astrophysical Observatory - where the piano given by Einstein to his sister was played - from Palazzo Davanzati to the Magliabechiano hall in the Uffizi to the State Archive and at the Opificio delle Pietre Dure.
Strings City is an initiative of the Municipality of Florence, organized by the Fiesole Music School with Luigi Cherubini Music Conservatory, Maggio Musicale Fiorentino and Orchestra della Toscana, with the participation of Amici della Musica di Firenze and Orchestra da Camera Fiorentina, with the contribution of the Metropolitan City of Florence and with the support of SIAE - Italian Society of Authors and Publishers.
h+ consolidated its relationship with the Municipality of Florence and managed the organizational coordination of the communication of over 80 free concerts that animated the capital city of Tuscany region.
